Potomac Floors logoPotomac Floors

A new flooring company, built from an empty folder.

Potomac Floors was only a few months old. It had no website, no analytics, and no map visibility across its six main search terms. We started with an empty project.

Where it started

What we found.

  • No website of their own. We started the codebase from an empty project.
  • 48 search clicks across the previous three months.
  • Five stars from six Google reviews, against competitors holding 55 to 254.
  • Zero of 81 map grid points across six flooring keywords. Invisible in Maps everywhere in the service area.
  • No analytics installed, so nothing about the traffic was being recorded.

What we changed

The work.

  1. Built the website from scratch.

  2. Installed analytics and took the first baseline measurement, including the map grid that showed zero coverage.

  3. Published 93 articles, 8 service hubs, 31 location pages, and 16 service-by-city pages. 181 pages in total.

  4. Built Foreman, a voice-to-invoice CRM for the crew, and imported 546 real customers into it.

  5. Rebuilt the pricing and warranty position: one square-foot price with underlayment included, and a lifetime installation warranty, both stated on the page instead of quoted on request.

  6. Put Lorie, an SMS assistant, on inbound leads so quote requests get answered and scheduled instead of sitting.

Where it stands

What we're working on now.

Joining the CRM's estimates to its payments so a booked job can be traced back to the page and the call that started it.
